Meet Kate and Sara
Sisters and co-founders of Blue Sage Impact
Sara Kennedy
Sara is an expert in measurement and impact. She is dedicated to leveraging data-driven and human-centered strategies to translate complex data into actionable insights and drive sustainable change.
Her experience spans global initiatives across Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia, where she has lived and worked as an epidemiologist and manager of complex public health programs, to local community focused non-profits, where she has held multiple leadership positions.
Sara holds a BA from Boston College and an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She lives in Baltimore with her husband and three children.
Kate Reinemund
Kate is an executive in philanthropy and impact investing, having spent her career elevating financial solutions and building bridges for greater social impact.
Kate has worked across the capital spectrum, from managing complex investment portfolios, to investing impact-aligned loan capital, to running a donor advised fund organization focused on impact investing, to directing an innovative collaborative which funded in early childhood development programs and solutions.
Kate has a BA in Psychology from Boston College and a MBA from Stanford University. She lives in Denver, CO with her husband and three young daughters.
